I‘ve found it helps to pause and take a 10k foot view of what the full landscape of what’s causing you to feel overwhelmed before embarking on a plan. Sometimes it’s unrealistic expectations from the business or partner leaders/organizations, other times it could be expectations you’re putting on yourself or your teams. And often it can be a combination of all of these things, but the end result resembles a pressure cooker regardless. Once you take a moment to take stock of all the requirements and demands you’re trying to juggle, understand what you need to start, stop, delay or continue (and why) and what can be delegated to your team vs. what you need to drive. And who you need to influence to align to these decisions.
