Product management is an interesting area of career growth for Customer Support leaders, given that support that’s integrated with product strategy and executed well can become a valuable differentiating product feature. Look for opportunities to work with product managers on support-driven UI resources and content or tools like Pendo and Whatfix to drive these integrations. There are also collaboration opportunities across product and support around content and channels needed by users when and where they might need support resources. Another would be working with marketing, product and support to build brand promise opportunities within support- areas of enablement or innovation that support could leverage with product teams.
