Today we have a new consulting génération. A consultant is a guide ans a wiser. He has not to judge. His job is to help you to enhance, nothing else. If you meet a consultant who has a bad talk and a pretentious behaviour, it is not a consultant, it is just a pretentious human.

I believe this is very real for the typical consultant - who, in many cases, is an overachiever. This may feel most acute during the interview process and again during promotion cycles. I found it was helpful to ground myself in my capabilities and contributions to the client.

Every human fail otherwise, he can't learn. But sometimes, we prefer forget mistake or let them under. Ask to someone helping you to recognize your mistakes. Partners have better ways to understand us. If your partner is clever, you will learn speeder than to try to understand yourself.

If you are scared of failing then why not fail in the domain where you get better exposure? But, I would suggest start being optimistic first. If you are going to doubt yourself, then nobody can help you. Analyse the situation -> Brainstorming -> Multiple tangents -> Sort -> Most effective solution. Voila, you got the answer to every problem

In my past experience of delivering consulting projects, I always find them challenging and risky. Easy projects are not exciting either. And the fear of failure creeps in almost always but at different stages of the project. What helps is first identifying the reason for the fear. In my case its mostly either, lack of preparedness, knowledge gap, execution delays, expectation mismatch with clients, or results not as per the plan. Once i figure this out, i go all in to address the cause. This takes extra effort time and energy but rebuilds the confidence and helps deliver a successful project. My advise - Take up challenging projects because thats where most learning happens. Stay disciplined and address the gaps at regular interval.

You can develop a growth mindset but it is often the most difficult to do. If you want have a good mindset, i see just a way : meditation. In a meditation you have mantras. It mean to repeat some sentences which help you to change your view. It is a good training. Choice some positives mantras with a coach and each day repeat it and repeat again
