My approach to delegate tasks its to let the people growth, develop, learn new things. the delegation of tasks in which i had the most of the success is the delegation of tasks not at all related to the specific assignment or today responsibility of the individuals. For anybody working in real estate development and or operation i warmly suggest to take breaks from computer and long meetings. Go to the field, see and meet the customer, check teh construction development with your own eyes. have this approach not in deconstructive and criticizing way of looking for the mystakes of others but do it in a constructuve way, expecially if the asset is open check the customer behaviour, their habits, if possible establish a dialogue with them, You learn much more then from stressy meetings.
