This situation should not arise. 3 things to avoid these situation. 1 - Iron clad pre production and planning. 2 - Having thought of multiple scenarios and already having a back up plan for the same 3 - Even if such situation arises and there is a panic situation. Make sure it doesn’t reach the client or agency. Take care of it before it reaches there. If such circumstances still arrive then. 1 - See if it can be solved with your leverage as a producer with the vendors may it be shift or time issues. 2 - Try to convince the Agency to try and go for an on set alternative. The client also understands 3 - Always keep a 5-8 % buffer in your DC for misc costs. Use that money to solve the problems that the above 2 approaches cannot.

There are no failures only lessons. Keep asking yourself questions like. What can I do to ensure this production is a success and the best outcome for everyone? The answer is always there when you listen to the silence.
