Current tools & methologies are not outdated (and can't be) totally, as they're based on human nature - satisfaction, reaction, usability, curiosity, inclusiveness and many other important things. Usually, we're upgrading ways (and software as a result) to see wider picture and analyse better small "bricks" that matter. For example one brain is good, team is much better, but AI-driven software in collaboration with right human perspective (incl. ethical issues) based on more detailed dataset of user personas could change the game. So qualitative research will always depend on the researcher and not on technology (even the min technological requirements are enough for synthesising and showcasing findings) However the quantitative research may be affected by technology and we need to be upgraded to new tools that simplifies large data and provides better data visualization in research study

Holding quarterly sessions to examine tool upgrades or new tools coming to market is crucial when doing Q planning. In my teams we have applied three cases: 1. Each member has one tool proposal per quarter. 2. Hold a hackathon to solve problems with new technologies. 3. Do monthly trainings where one team member can teach others how to use a new tool.

The first step I will take is to evaluate the current tools and create a transition plan to upgrade them one by one, starting from the oldest tool or method. This ensures that I utilize the latest technologies. Finally, I will assess the innovation and time saved after completing all the upgrades.
