What do you do if your travel and tourism team is struggling to solve problems effectively?

In our travel agency, we noticed a recurring problem where our team was struggling to meet customer demands promptly. We realized that there was a lack of communication and coordination among team members, leading to delays and customer dissatisfaction. To address this issue, we organized a team meeting to assess the root cause of the problem. During the meeting, team members shared their perspectives on the challenges they were facing, including communication barriers, workload distribution issues, and a lack of clarity on roles and responsibilities. By actively listening to their concerns and analyzing the situation, we identified several key areas for improvement.

All all spheres of life including Business one needs to have a plan A and plan B in place. As Travel Counsellors you need to explain to a client how strict Airlines have become with time limits, airline rules which I'm almost sure 80 percent of the online booker does not read or not even aware of. In the case of Globsl problems this could lead to huge issues. They need to understand that if a client books on line their is little a Travel Counsellor can do to assist if something goes wrong with there reservation. We are not entitled to intervene with a reservation we have not made !!!
