Durante esta última etapa en el que hemos sido testigos de cambios importantes en el mundo debido al Covid 19 y también por una serie de avances tecnológicos, que nos ha planteado una serie de retos a considerar sobre la planificación. El incremento de las actividades de teletrabajo modifica el comportamiento de viajes sobre todo en ciudades grandes en las cuales podríamos esperar una reducción de los desplazamientos que se realizan hacia centros de gran demanda. A esto se suma el auge de los repartidores de productos con entrega a domicilio o delivery, en el que se denota un nuevo comportamiento de los desplazamientos de los vehículos con una nueva tendencia y lógicamente con implicaciones sobre la movilidad y la infraestructura.
