Immediately assess the damage done and take containment measures to control the damage done due to communication gaps, set milestone to be completed immediately and what are dependencies, try to make a communication plan in order to communicate properly to all stakeholders and educate the importance of deadlines, motivate team members to overcome the loss of time and schedule periodic reviews in order to strictly follow the new schedule.
