This can be tricky. It is important to work within the leadership structure. If you are in charge of the team then absolutely celebrate them. Do make sure you are consiten and build a protocol around it so that it gives everyone an equal opportunity to shine. If you are not in charge approach HR or Team Lead and find out how to make it happen. It is also important to make sure the person being celebrated is ok with it specially when sharing details or stories. This is a great opportunity for leadership if a system/protocol does not already exist.

A "MVP" of the week would be a great solution in this situation. It gives staff a chance to be acknowledged and valued for their achievements; if it happens every week, then it would constantly give members an opportunity every week to meet and exceed their accomplishments.
