When under intense project implementation activities, it would be useful to dedicate intention reflection & learning time (5-10mins). The adaptive strategy could into front loading of knowledge & skills while delivering the project activities.

As a leader, your success should be measured by the success, engagement, and feedback from your team. Being adaptable as a team leader is always beneficial, I have found that sometimes it is easy to get stuck in this “strategy has worked successfully so many times before’’ mentality, so therefore there can’t be anything wrong with the strategy and we lack to see how the situation and environment is different and requires a new approach. As the saying goes “if you’re not growing, you are dying” the same can be said about strategies, if they stay, the same and don’t evolve or adapt they will eventually die.
