Try to take feedback from your mentor or expert periodically. 5) Try to be adapt new changes. Flexibility and agility in adjusting your strategic thinking to meet new challenges and opportunities will be crucial for success in the long run.

My experience says, Power Engineering is very challenging field that needs continuous learning and improvement. You need an eye on latest innovations to help optimize processes, and enhance efficiency of power system. I am expecting development of cogeneration prime movers such as gas turbines/engines, and steam turbine systems for industries to aid market growth. The Combined Heat and Power (CHP) systems is expected to gain significant traction and anticipated to create significant opportunities for the Power Systems market by the end of 2030 to surpass US$ 26Billion by 2030. En mi caso, yo soy ingeniero de petróleo y quería ampliar mis conocimientos para convertirme en Ingeniero de Energía, en mi país no existe esa carrera así que realicé un máster en Energías Renovables, este se enfoca en la parte eléctrica, así que tuve que estudiar nuevamente circuitos para entender solar, eólico e hidrógeno. Ahora, estoy de manera autodidacta estudiando Geotermia y puedo entender desde mi experiencia de yacimientos petroleros los potenciales de esta energía. Yo he buscado a través de LinkedIn a personalidades en este tema y leo todas sus publicaciones con disciplina, tengo una carpeta en mi computadora donde tengo separado los textos para estudiar, y algunos días del mes los dedico sólo a esto. Les recomiendo seguir a @Magdy Aly , @Suhail Diaz @Sonia López Kovacs, por mencionar algunos. Luego es implementar tus conocimientos lo antes posible, incluso puedes proponer proyectos a entes públicos que permitan validar tus conocimientos y capacidad de implementar todo el aprendizaje que has venido acumulando. Finalmente, otro aspecto importante es apuntarte como profesor, es necesario formar a la generación de relevo con optimismo y fomentar en los estudiantes la creatividad y pensamiento crítico.

Para aplicar tus habilidades, debes dar a conocer primero que las tienes, participa como speaker en eventos públicos, ofrecete a dictar cursos a profesionales e incluso ofrecete como voluntario en proyectos de este tema, lo cual te dará una experiencia valiosa para la implementación de proyectos, todas las experiencias suman.

En estos momentos es importante de acuerdo a las potencialidades geográficas crear soluciones energéticas mixtas que signifiquen menor inversión y mayor rentabilidad, para abrir de esta forma el abanico de oportunidades, y que los proyectos sean autosostenibles.
