Experienced engineers will know the scope of effort and cost of various approaches. Tends to report to an engineering manager. Experienced QA will know what features will generate the most issues and user support costs. Tends to report to a product marketing manager. The Engineering Manager must present options and the long-term/short-term cost of each approach and make recommendations. In a market-driven company, the Product Manager is responsible for what features are deployed, when, and at what cost. Assuming this doesn't get escalated to upper management, the Product Manager makes the final decision and should take the hit if the schedule and/or budget slips. In a tech-driven company, the Engineering Manager often makes the call.

Cobro também o diálogo e a comunica??o pois se houver problema e dificuldade, para tentarmos ver pontos para melhorar ou alterar a rota, e n?o “remar”, “remar” numa atividade e n?o produzir.

Definir processo(s) e amadurecer esse(s) processo(s) é fundamental, pois sabemos onde estamos em cada parte do fluxo. No meu time por exemplo temos algumas dificuldades de processo junto aos desenvolvedores, boas práticas etc. Mas entre os analistas de testes, temos um processo bem maduro e que colhe boas métricas e resultados e n?o deixa ninguém perdido.

My nickname in the biz is “Madux” - a term of endearment for Mom. Mom can fix anything! Listen & bring about something positive to build on from each side. Meet them in the middle-show empathy by aligning in the positive-take those positive items-build out what tasks that are not getting completed or there’s not complete agreement-seek options that deliver the overall goal. Mom leads & drives. I would have team potlucks (yes, group meals even online)- chat & eat & that leads to understanding. Always task people. Team members love to see their tasks to completion-managers gets goals accomplished. Mom knows the culture, personalities involved, & goals needed. Lead your teams to success by being “Mom.” Everyone wants to impress Madux!
