One thing I have found helpful is to reflect and look at things you can do to improve and things that are outside of your current control. The things that are outside of your control you could look at as questions to be answered. How can I get from here to there? What training or qualifications can I do to get me there? Do I need help with this? Would it be good to reach out to people for support?

There are many ways to go by this through consultation groups etc. I know some practitioners have recorded (with consent of clients) sessions to then look back on and see the subconscious behaviors they as the practitioner do. The key to feedback is reflection and implementation. Find what part of the feedback really is true for you, and implement ways of change. Even better if you can have the person who gave you the feedback be your accountability person for the changes you make.

In my experience reflecting on progress is important but if you only focus on the negatives you only see half of the picture. Sometimes the positives can inform ways of working on the negatives.
