Daily cadence calls with a clear agenda with daily updates must be part of your governance model. Even if sometimes there is no update, cadence calls are needed even for a short period. Try to meet physically all team members at least once a year if company budget permits. Remote work and remote team management is a very common trend nowadays and majority of people must have experienced that at least whoever joined since and before Corona period.
