What do you do if your revisions as a remote copywriter are constantly rejected?

Constantly? Oooof. If your revisions are CONSTANTLY rejected, ask this: Is it just one client or every client? If it's one client, that happens. Some clients are difficult to please. But if revisions come from all clients, ask two questions: 1. Is it tone, grammar, lack of research, passive vs active voice, etc.? or 2. Is it your ability? ?? If it's #1, find the client's brand voice, use Grammarly, do more research, and chuck the participles, modals, gerunds, etc. (use active voice) If it's #2... I started out both designing and writing websites. I was good at one and great at the other. I chucked design. Maybe you're not great at copywriting if you face constant revisions. Have that hard talk, pivot, and chase the right dream.

Most of the time, we feel sad when we receive negative feedback because we often perceive feedback as criticism, when in fact, it is a goldmine of insights. You should approach feedback with a growth mindset. By dissecting feedback, you can pinpoint areas for improvement and align yourself more closely with your client's vision. Besides making sure you're doing what's asked, like understanding the what, why, and how of the work, it's helpful to really get what's expected. It's cut down on revisions for me personally. Otherwise, you might end up doing something that doesn't quite match what they want.
