Sometimes people create a scenario, where the solution is clear at the first glance, however is not feasible due to the unspoken problems or barriers. In this situation you do not want to find yourself in this trap - ask the questions first to evaluate the task from all of the perspectives before proposing the solution.

The key was to understand the goal and approach the problem collaboratively. We were tasked with improving a company's customer support process.
