Descobrir o real problema é essencial para resolvê-lo de forma eficaz. Parece óbvio, mas muitas vezes nós n?o exploramos a fundo o problema e acabamos resolvendo o efeito do problema e n?o a causa raiz que o gerou. Um técnica simples que pode ajudar a descobrir a causa raiz s?o os 5 porquês. Ex: Cadastro de novos produtos n?o está funcionando; Por que? Banco de Dados de Estoque está desatualizado; Pq? O almoxarife n?o cadastrou os produtos; Pq? O sistema retornou um erro; Pq? O cadastro foi feito de forma incorreta; Pq? O almoxarife n?o foi treinado. Nesse exemplo fica claro que "o cadastro de novos produtos n?o estar funcionando" n?o é o problema, mas sim o efeito do problema raiz que é a "falta de treinamento do almoxarife".

2 Brainstorm possible solutions

Once you have identified the problem, you can start generating possible solutions. Brainstorming is key to being open-minded and creative, without judging or rejecting any idea. To do this, you can use techniques such as mind mapping, SCAMPER (Substitute, Combine, Adapt, Modify, Put to another use, Eliminate, Reverse), and Six Thinking Hats (White – facts and data; Red – emotions and feelings; Black – risks and drawbacks; Yellow – benefits and opportunities; Green – creativity and innovation; Blue – process and control). Brainstorming allows you to expand your range of options and discover new possibilities.

After brainstorming, you need to evaluate and select the best solution for your problem. To do this, consider its feasibility, effectiveness, efficiency, and impact. You can use a pros and cons list, SWOT analysis, or decision matrix to evaluate each option. By doing so, you can optimize your decision and avoid regrets.
