If my Problem solving requires creative decision-making I would keep an open mind and a positive mindset to achieve a good result. Having curiosity and doing some research to expand my knowledge and arrive to more creative decisions and well-based.

Information is not knowledge. First step is to gather the available information and read it. Twice. At least. Then consult with someone else, expert or experienced person in the field, the topic. Then sit again and add your perspective.
