Concluding clear user requirements and documenting in systematic manner. Prioritise problems based on impact and urgency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to work together on problem solving or complex solutions ensuring minimal disruption to the business. Consider system performance and systems integration with other interfaces and platforms to evaluate the interdependencies in implementation. Regularly communicate updates and provide user training for smoother transitions. Continuous monitoring and feedback are crucial for ongoing improvement.

Data comes first in rank when you are working to solve complex ERP problems. Data sources can be many and need careful analysis and evaluation in terms of getting to the root cause of the problems. The root cause may not be identified based on few examples or samples. However detail and in-depth analysis of the complete data sets are required. Identify trends, patterns and historical behaviours of your ERP data to find the cause of the problems or area of improvements. Building dashboards and analytical reporting on impacted data objects may also help.

After you have analyzed the data, you need to generate possible alternatives to solve the problem. You can use different methods, such as brainstorming, mind mapping, or SWOT analysis, to come up with creative and feasible ideas.
