First of all, before starting learning any particular language, would be better to start with learning: - OOP - Functional programing - Networking No matter which programing language or stack will you choose in the future, this fundamental knowladge will be useful anyway, plus generic understanding of basic principles will help you learn new languages in depth.

In my experience as a self-taught programmer, reading books can give you years of experience in just a few days. Find a good book to jump start your learning in a topic. “The basics” are difficult to learn without a solid guide. My way will be: 1. Check what type of work and what language, then go to internet for basic knowledge. 2. Check existing code and go through code structure and basic flow. If block simply "google it". And continue the flow. 3. if there is unit testing do that before start doing normal code that give you proper idea what, when and where to look for method, function, parameters, objects, db, etc. 4. Step 3 will provide you better knowledge about project file structure and code flow. 5. Last one better one is to explain same thing to new comers and junior while doing all 4 steps and applying 5 you will be the master

Now, you can choose any language to implement the topics/fundamentals/basics you have learnt. Don't get into DSA immediately. Rather, build a simple project. And then get into DSA. As you gain more knowledge in DSA, you can enhance and improve your project accordingly. This approach will have a stronger correlation between your learning and practical application. Best way to have deeper understanding of the concepts.
