What do you do if your personal brand as a leader is not getting noticed?

In my opinion, authentic leadership is not about accolades. It is not unusual to not receive recognition at first, especially within your organization. If what you lead is a passion, then share value outside your organization. Publish, have your own podcast, post social media. Do it for yourself. Trust the process. It works.

If your reputation, as a leader isn't getting the attention it deserves begin by refining your unique value proposition. What makes you stand out? Once you have clarity on this make sure to share this message across all platforms where your audience's active. Engage with your community by sharing insights providing information and being authentic. Building connections is vital; make sure to connect with individuals who hold influence and peers in your industry. Don't underestimate the importance of feedback; seek it out listen attentively and be willing to adjust. Remember, establishing a brand takes time and perseverance. Continuously refine your strategy based on what proves effective and always remain true, to your values.

True leadership is about servitude! The ability to see and do without being asked. The ability to seat at the back and still be effective. The ability to not be named or appointed a leader and still have people see you as such or simply know they can get some help, some insights and some information from you without second guessing themselves and with the leader also understanding the importance of humanness at whatever level of leadership they are.. That for me is authentic leadership ????

Your a leader, so lead by asking questions? Define the value your ‘personal brand’ has in relation to your leadership, but more specifically to those around you. If you don’t know the answer, if you’ve got work to do. That’s your starting point!

I have leveraged on social networking especially LinkedIn on the side of the professional side of my career and aspirations and on the other hand Facebook for the social and corporate responsibility part! And what i find is that when your acts are of service your leadership automatically stands out!????????????????

At Leadership level, there is an advantage of Networking. Everyone realizes, it will be a conscious objective exercise. So, you don't need to feel defensive about it. Please be selective in the choice of Network. Few suggestions * take your time to choose the Network. Understand your objectives in the first place. This is an internal exercise, which must be good enough to get the external networking clicking. * do not be pushy. Although everyone has an objective, there is no point being pushy from the word go. Keep every action, messaging to resonate with your Personal brand. Helps in long run. * speak to your own circle of contacts. Understand how does Professional networking work. Get some tips from your circle. Be authentic & real.

Actively engage with your audience on social media platforms, industry forums, or networking events. Participate in conversations, respond to comments, and share relevant content to build relationships and establish yourself as a trusted authority in your niche.

Besides networking, consistently create and share insightful content in your field. It showcases your expertise, engages your audience, and extends your brand’s reach. Focus on quality and consistency for the best impact BUT be authentic in person as well as social media

To stand out in anything, innovation is required. In the fast-paced, ever-changing landscape of modern leadership, staying adaptable and innovative is not just advantageous; it's necessary for survival and success.

I think this is the key here. Your value as a leader should come through the eyes of how others perceive you as a leader, not whether or not you choose to paint a picture of yourself as one. When your name comes up in a meeting, what is the general response? If you're a team lead and a project comes up, it would be pretty nice to think that the consensus when your name comes up in conversation is overwhelmingly positive.
