I've managed quite a few communities and here are the 3 steps I always take when things have gotten out of hand: 1. Pinpoint where the issue is coming from. Is it a member that started this? 2. Once I have figured out where the issue originally came from, I then remove it. This could mean reaching out to the person or removing them from the group 3. The last step is to release a statement to the online community informing them that you have addressed the issue and you are doing your best to prevent this from happening again.
