Personally, for me too taking a break has helped. We do tend to experience burnout, creative blocks or a lack of motivation. At this time, it is sometimes best to just take a break, do other things and come back with a fresh mind and perspective.

It's a battle in the mind. When you think you should learn something, it means that you need to learn something. That's the kind of perspective a good graphic designer should know. In my experience, I started very early with video and poster creation, so when I was asked to learn some coding stuff, I was not really motivated. But it's like, it was always hunting me, I felt like I missed something. Then, I was studying computer science, so I was then, in some way, "forced" to understand coding. From that point, I enjoy coding and I use my design skills to make a difference in my community. That's the power of changing perspective. We need to sometimes to "force" ourselves to learn something new. Indeed, you do need discipline along the way.

Eu já passei alguns diversos meses sem motiva??o no trabalho onde eu amava realizar. Me sentia cansado mentalmente e nada me fazia querer continuar a estudar e me especializar ainda mais na área. Foi aí que entendi que estava passando por um burnout. Busquei ajuda e me cuidei, quando estava hapto para voltar as atividades do trabalho, voltei com muita energia e disposi??o, me atrevo a dizer que minha melhora profissional deslanchou a partir dai. Entenda os seus limites e adquira poder para prosseguir e progredir.

Make the right questions to yourself! Do you want to become a graphic designer? Why? Is it your choice, or does someone else influence you (e.g. family)? If the answer is yes then you have to accept that you have to sacrifice things in order to achieve your goals. Not every step of your journey will be enjoyable. But if you dream about a different career then ask yourself what kind of career is it. Are you ready to do what is necessary to change? In any case, you have to do the work. So, make sure that you orient yourself in the right direction :)
