I'd start with analyzing why your suggestions and input are being ignored or overlooked. It might be because of your presence. It might be because of bias they have against what you are suggesting. It might be because they view your input as superficial. It might be because you are the new person, and they are discounting your experience. Privately seek input from others. Don't guess at it. I once went into a meeting and told an EVP that his hiring model was too expensive and contradicted the culture of the company. That suggestion went over like a lead balloon. It was true, but it wasn't something he wanted to hear from a Director. My boss, his peer, said the same thing and he didn't like it but had to consider it.
