What do you do if your fashion design career is coming to an end?

Art is not restricted in any field. If you have an artistic view, you can apply it in any trendy field.such as home decor, traditional things and many more. You need one thing that is wide and stable mindset.

Coming to an end? Many different ways to answer this question. If you're retiring then it's a rewarding feeling and a true celebration. If the company is going out of business, start looking for another job. Send your resumes out to many firms to be on the safe side. If you have been let go because they feel you haven't performed in the way they expected, then a decision has to be made. Ask yourself, do I have what it takes to survive in the fashion industry? Do I need more experience, or take additional courses to enhance my skills? If you love designing don't give up! You do whatever it takes. Or, you may feel intuitively a career change is on the horizon. Perhaps there's another area you have more passion for, I say, "go for it!!!"

I would like to share my path. I started as a designer in a small company then take break for my studies and family. After a long time I restart my career as a mentor so that I managed my work and family both. Still i like the designing but the complements i got from my students are such valuable thing I earn. There is no end of the journey, the path will change by time.
