One thing I've found very helpful is to activate business continuity plans. Implement measures to ensure critical business functions can continue operating despite the crisis. This may involve remote work arrangements, alternative supply chain routes, or backup systems. A good example is the Covid19 pandemic when the whole world went into lockdown. Having a business continuity plan and immediately activating it during a lockdown crisis helped businesses to quite an extent, continue their operations.
