I often ask Ai to "Explain it to me like I'm five years old", and it gives an analogy or an insight that stimulates discussion and exploration. This one practice allows both of you to start embracing change and also to use AI to help you understand other technologies.

One way of continuously learning with technology is to ChatGPT or other AI and ask it to explain something to you. It is a very quick way to get a good overview of a topic. I go through the 'ages'. I ask it to explain it like a 5-year-old, then as a 10-year-old, a university student and an expert. The 5-year-old version will give you metaphors and analogies to help you understand the tool or topic in context, the 10-year-old explanation will explain it without jargon, the University version will include jargon, and the expert speaks in detail. It's a rapid and joyful way of learning continuously and relating to new technologies.
