I'm taking this from the position of the "interviewer". There are many industries that may not, on face, pack the "sizzling punch" of working for some of the more showcase "name" type companies. I think it's always a good idea to find common ground. Help the person along. They may simply be nervous. As an entry level interview, they likely lack experience. Take the lead and work to bring out the best in them. What is exciting and interesting to the candidate? Maybe they just need the benefit of your energy and zest for what your company does to spark another level of interest--you never know, your encouragement may just help reveal a hidden gem!

If you catch yourself lacking enthusiasm during an interview, take a moment to mentally adjust your attitude. Remind yourself why you applied for the job in the first place.
