Many times we have ideas in our own mind, and we think that the design team can also understand our thoughts, but I think this is wrong! You must fully describe all the items and what you have in mind. But in my opinion, after you explain everything, let the design team do their work freely, and give more freedom to the design team. Because this is how creativity grows. Of course, you can present the important points in the form of a checklist so that they are not forgotten, but I emphasize again that you leave the design team free and do not give your opinions or evaluate while working.

It's good to give the design team freedom of action. But sometimes the design team may not understand your tastes and interests and use their own taste that has nothing to do with the culture of the organization or the brand. For example, use colors that are not suitable for your culture! I had a designer in the design team who had a special interest in purple color and used purple color in all designs unconsciously! And I needed to remind him sometimes during work to use the colors associated with the brand. But the emphasis I have on design is to leave the designer as free as possible to implement his ideas

The advantage is that you get to see the results of the practice yourself. Even though there are obstacles along the way, there are still people who support them. In evaluating the results so that everyone understands and achieves the desired effectiveness.

The faintest inks last longer than the strongest memories. Try to document the project when you present it to your team. Not verbally. Of course, verbal explanations are necessary for a better understanding of the team. But it has the best effect when you accompany it with documentation. Whether when you want to present the project, or when you want to evaluate it, the use of documentation will have a greater impact on your team.

In a book, I once read that goals and evaluations aren't really helpful. What's good for one person may not be suitable for another, and goals can limit you because you become solely focused on them. I prefer setting tasks instead; these must be accomplished. It's better to state what needs to be learned and what is expected overall. But especially in the creative field, goals can sometimes be limiting. Wrigley's, for example, initially produced detergent until they stumbled upon chewing gum by accident. Focusing on goals can indeed be helpful, but it can also sometimes restrict creativity and development.

The main point of this is effective communication. Most of the times, companies have design guidelines and past examples of work, which can serve as a guideline for newer designers to work on with that as a reference. Sometimes, they might also need to learn new techniques and softwares for the sake of their work, & everyone has a different learning rate as well as creative vision, which might affect the quality of the designs on an overall. Communication plays a key role here-if the designers communicate about their issues, ideas, constraints, etc. with the team & a mutual understanding is formed, I think most of the problems would be solved, provided that there is a healthy atmosphere maintained at the working place.
