One thing i have found useful to foster learning and development is to bring in UI/UX designer for the designing experience. I have usually observed including a UI/UX constructively challenge data visualization team to look into new ways of implementing user experience and produce a more impactful dashboard and insight. This itself pushes for a continuous learning and development. Apart from this cross training across various platform and participating in hackathons and visualization challenges in the enterprise also present a good way to learn and pickup new skill

This is one of the key practice that has helped my team significantly in past few years. We as a team always do a retrospect session post completion of the delivery and clearly try to document what we did right vs what we did not. This give a clear line of sight to the entire team the area to focus on in next assignment
