When confidence take a hit first thing you need to remember is to be kind to yourself during times of uncertainty and self-doubt. Treat yourself with the same compassion and understanding that you would offer to a friend facing similar challenges. Remember that everyone experiences setbacks, and they don't define your worth or potential. Also, take time to envision your desired outcomes and the steps you will take to achieve them. Visualising success can help reinforce your confidence and motivation, making it easier to navigate through issues and setbacks.

Lack of confidence comes from feeling overwhelmed. How do I get over that? Typically, I break the project down into manageable steps. Then, I do the steps, one-by-one. It is like jogging. I can always put one foot in front of the other. Once I start I keep going.

I agree. I read an interesting perspective on anxiety, viewing it as positive, bringing with it focus and motivating a desire to perform at our best. I acknowledge these emotions as they are unlikely to diminish, and (for me) they come with the territory. The alternative is to allow them to debilitate me and do nothing, and quite frankly this is both unacceptable and unsatisfying. My approach is to minimise procrastination (as avoidance), and to engage in activities that will contribute to a successful outcome. Face it head on, feel the fear….and do it anyway.

No one tells you just how challenging entrepreneurship is. They tell you it’s not easy but that’s too small. Entrepreneurship exposes you, brings out all of your unhealed places and makes you question why you even started. Which is why we should NEVER go it alone! If you are able, having a personal coach to help dig into the root of your fear so that you can make a plan of action to overcome it can be invaluable. They can share experience/resources, provide a fresh perspective when you're stuck, and hold you accountable to your goals. They also can help you work through your scarcity/lack mindset and work with you to better manage fear and stress.

Find reliable delegation to support executive function and working memory challenges, that doubles as a personal brand advocate. Sourcing this individual is life or death for most entrepreneurial minds… I know it’s my biggest barrier.

Auch unrealistische Ziele k?nnen hilfreich sein, um über sich hinaus zu wachsen, wir setzen nur den Fokus falsch. Wenn wir nicht 100% des Ziels erreichen, sondern nur 80% gehen wir davon aus, dass wir das Ziel nicht erreicht h?tten. Wir haben aber nur 20% nicht erreicht und 80% davon erfolgreich abgeschlossen! Ich setze mir gerne hohe Ziele, von denen ich dann auch gerne nur 80% erreichen kann.

Eeesh I could write a thesis on why I hate goal setting. It’s way harder than it seems- despite the millions of words written to suggest the contrary. As a starter for 10- focus your activity on achieving the meaning not the outcome. A monetary target may not inspire you- but the lifestyle and world change you’ll create with it can be more inspiring and motivating. Money is a tool for your true aspirations. Set them as journey statements. It gives you permission and latitude to flex as you and your business does. It empowers you to adjust the journey. Keep it simple. Keep them simple. Use clear language you understand, rather than the business language you may feel will make it more grown up and sensible.

The feeling of being overwhelmed can sometimes cause a drop in confidence. Realistic goals should be set. You should break down your larger goals into smaller, more attainable milestones. Your self-assurance will increase as a result of this because it gives you a feeling of progress and success.

To consider setbacks as lessons that prepare you for future performance requires some humility to accept that you do not have all the answers - yet. I used to consider setbacks as personal failures. My high standards and expectations increased my level of disappointment whenever I 'failed'. I realised that this was tied to my pride of usually beating my high standards. As a result, I'd be preoccupied with why something went wrong, rather than what I could do about it. Nowadays, I find it more empowering to focus on 'what' and not 'why', on my journey of learning as an entrepreneur. When we use each challenge, disappointment, or failure as a means to learning something that helps us become better, we develop resilience and agility.

One of the biggest areas of learning (that isn’t often spoken about) is learning how to fail and when to call it a day. Whether it’s a specific line of enquiry, a product or business. Knowing when to call it quits and invest your time and energy elsewhere is invaluable. The more you do it. The less exhausted you’ll be. Which is my other point. Do it at pace. Be 51% sure and make that decision. And keep moving. Dwelling is exhausting. Second guessing your should-a, would-a could-a is energy that could be better spent. Sure- you’ll make mistakes in this too. Do it. Learn from it and move on.

It's not a matter of "if" you'll lose confidence... It's "when" and "for how long." You will encounter major adversity and setbacks. Hence, You have to be all-in, or you're just in the way....If you try and test the waters and NOT go all-in, it simply won't work. Most people are part-timers anyway, so find a mentor and someone who is all-in and "eating what they kill" revenue wise...

Sometimes, we're so caught up in finding quick solutions that we forget to take a moment to step back and see the lessons in our challenges. Think about it – how many times have you improved at something because you tried before and it didn't work, but now you are mastering it with confidence?

Social Media has created a faux image of the daily struggles your peers have to endure on their own roads to success. Do not compare yourself to others. You may only be seeing what they want you to see. Your life is just that, your own. Embrace every opportunity and do not be discouraged when challenges present themselves. Challenges are an opportunity for growth and without them you may not be prepared to manage your success long term.
