One thing I found useful in active listening : - Regardless of how ambiguous the messages may be, good listeners actively endeavour to grasp what others are truly trying to express. Not only does listening require the interpretation of spoken words, but it also requires the interpretation of nonverbal clues like body language and facial emotions.
