I would: 1. Have a lab for testing purposes and validate all apps. 2. File the proper Change Request for the tech change (Description, change plan, validations, roll back plan, backups, change window, teams involved, impact, urgency, etc). Get the auth for it 3. Implement the change

How do you need it What tools you need to use to get it done Use this format for reporting When do you needed (if needed ask if it is possible) Follow company policy and procedures

When implementing a change it is a good practice to test/apply in: 1. test environment 2. dev environment and then... if succeed 3. Prod Environment Assuming your 3 environments have the same conditions :).
