This is hardly a problem exclusive to the PR industry and can happen anywhere :) But the best way to stand out and get noticed is through quality work. If you let the work shine for itself, favoritism or bias won’t affect you as you will become indispensable to the team. In the PR industry this means developing your professional networks by moving beyond the transactional, ability to spot a good trend and convert it into a leading headline, stay up to date on your sectors of interest and adding value to your campaigns with a blend of technology and human centric approach. Above all, love the work you do and the rewards will follow. It all adds up but it takes time and effort. #publicrelations
