Communication is always king & only a truly unreasonable boss would want to crush a valued employee with overwork. It’s not easy with the power imbalance but keep it respectful reasonable and have your argument ready, including the downside risk to the business and the reflection on the boss

Haha! I have probably faced this situation 80% of the time when bosses are literally asking for unrealistic expectations. phew! Some key steps 2 handling such a challenging scenario- Assess Situation: Determine if the demands are truly unreasonable or if they are opportunities for growth & skill development. Communicate Openly: Establish clear & respectful communication. Seek clarification when needed & discuss realistic alternatives if deadlines seem unattainable. Negotiate: Dont hesitate 2 negotiate with your boss on tasks that seem overly demanding. Document Interactions: Keep a record of instances where you feel pressured/treated unfairly. Seek Support: If the situation persists, consider seeking guidance from higher management.
