Según mi experiencia, cuando algún manager, jefe o director no está "receptivo" en la conversación, sugiero: 1) Mantener la calma "saliendo del problema": no es una cosa tuya, es una cosa de él. 2) No intentes hacerle cambiar de opinión en ese momento; pospón la conversación para otro momento. 3) Analiza post conversación los motivos por los cuáles la idea no ha hecho "clic" en tu jefe. ?He ido pidiendo en lugar de "dando valor"? ?Qué le inquieta de mi idea o petición? ?Cómo puede verlo de otra manera? 4) Reconstruye la situación de nuevo 5) Cita en el momento de nuevo adecuado a tu jefe para una nueva conversación

In my first years as Sales Executive, I only thought in win, my focus was alwas win, as a hunter, my mind and activities was focus only in win, but I need a time to understand that sometimes you win when you are quiet. Quiet is a place in wich you can learn and analize information to make better decisions. Quiet is the place in wich we will be more strategical and take a time to breath and reorganize our ideas. My boss always challenge me, and it cause that a lot of time we can't work in armony. I learn that quiet is a good place, and it not only make us intelligent, we will obtain wisdom to move in our new projects and relationships.

Active listening support us and let us understand better real needs and desires. It let us too, present a real solution adoc to our real need.

Clarify: Try to understand what he needs inform, share or deliver to us. It is not personal, it is work, and as it, we need try to peel the onion and understand what is the real message they want communicate. Remember, boss is a human too, and sometimes he need develop capabilities in order to understand us, but we need develop our own capabilities to understand what he is trying to share with us. Be patient, and take care about details, and please nothing is personal.
