My LinkedIn inbox is flooded with asks to pick my brain, to sell me services and to get on a call. I am an Entrepreneur as well, and I need to sell my services to. But I never go for the ask without adding value, no strings attached. Several things happen as a result: 1. I am met with silence, but I am on their radar as someone who gives not takes. 2. I am met with appreciation, with no follow up. Yet. They either refer me or take their time to learn more. Either way, I am not seen as spam. 3. I am met with curiosity and excitement, to learn more about how I can help them. Be of service, apply empathy and provide value.
