You ought to have a huge network and then great communication skills to sell what you are good at. I started off by doing one project at a very low rate for a client. Soon, by word of mouth, he referred me more clients and ultimately, I reached where I am today. You can also use LinkedIn to showcase your portfolio and build stronger relations with experts in the market. Keep branding yourself at whatever place necessary. Also, have a personal brand rather than copying other. Maintain a signature mark and you are good to shine in this industry.
