As VC investors there is a bias towards thinking we know a very great deal, we've seen a lot and because deal flow can feel so overwhelming we can think we've seen it all. So just listen. Founders out there are insanely smart. Doing super smart things in super smart markets. And if you stop and listen and reflect and consider - honestly we'll learn so much more.

Only a small 6% of the country lives in top 3 cities ie delhi , munbai and bglr. The next 10 years of venture building are going to be about how the lives of those who live beyond these cities is going to be transformed To understand them, one must spend time travelling by road to these cities and uncover new insights to build conviction on new business models that will serve these consumers

Could say stay hungry, stay foolish but that’s a given. As a VC, I think you are on a constant learning path. Your ability to exchange with your founders who you work with, to make sense of market forces and how industries are behaving and to correlate all your past experiences with possible outcomes of tomorrow will help you stay on course. Of course, the meandering will always be ornamented with cacophony and false positives but hey, it’s a path that one must take to make sense of what’s happening around.

Focus on what is disrupting value chains to actually create sustainable competitive advantages and get there first. Old school, new school, leadership stuff.
