Most probably developers used to follow some video tutorials ,some online certified courses, online project guidance, Some online open source article that allows to talk about your query and several solution like medium and quora,ask for the solution publicly in your social network or you can use the efficient use of the GitHub by calling the developers to contribute in it. This are some common resources to use as a mentor or guidance to have proper solution in your problem. You can even enhance your problem solving skills to do this all.

As a developer it is all good for you if you stay connected in the developer community where you can share your knowledge and gain alot new solutions and knowledge ,where you can at least have a update on the technology wherein you are working. There are several way to get connected with the communities, First of all the LinkedIn Network, Other then that you can be invited in the group of discussion on discord channel to talk on the technology, there are several chat bot that can help you be sync with the update knowledge.

I need to mention that there are plenty of resources, but they will not make you a developer by itself, you need to incorporate different resources, as they complete each other. Do not forget to pay attention to date of the resource, use the latest ones.

Need to be updated as per the job market and always stick to the basics. Because Fundamentals are something which stays for long and gives you an edge to start something new and understand things with other angles. So during your learning journey you need to keep motivation, adapt to things and reflect your work in the public which will give you motivation.
