I 100% agree and recommend anyone with interest in getting their feet wet take the training and get certified with IC3, CompTIA IT Fundamentals, and knowing a bit of batch scripting and/or Python. Afterwards, I’d recommend growing your knowledge and skills by earning your CompTIA A+, any Linux certification, and one of Microsoft’s fundamentals certifications for Azure.

Love what you do! When I was starting out in IT, it was all I wanted to do. I built my own domain at home, I ran my own mail server. My family were my users. Their computers were on the home domain and I managed them using group policy. Everything I did was an opportunity to learn. When I started applying for jobs the one thing that interviewers spoke about was my enthusiasm. Make it infectious. Make sure your love for the job comes across in your covering letter, your CV, your interview, your mannerisms. All of the rest is rubbish. It's an entry level position. It's unlikely you'll have a portfolio or a network of people to tap into. Nothing can stop you having energy and a good attitude.

Pour postuler à un poste, toutes les compétences sont importantes (savoir-faire, les qualités et centres d'intérêt), seulement à des degrés différents en fonction du niveau hiérarchique du poste visé. à mon avis, la motivation est le facteur dont le coefficient est le plus élevé, par la suite faire une analyse pour déterminer le niveau d'adéquation entre les différentes compétences et les exigences du poste.
