I'm a small practice owner, and while I have a great team who I really appreciate and trust to do the fee-earning work, it's me who is out there ensuring I can pay their wages and keep the lights on day in, day out. Being a valued team member, and contributor to the business goes beyond output imo. What you can bring in to ease the pressure on the owner is as, if not more, important.
