When we do research activities, we must ensure to brush up on our basics. It help us understand the concepts better and we can also go up to an advanced level of learning. In my experience, when I was doing my stock market research, I found out some basic things which I almost had forgotten, which was related to performance metrics. Then I thought of revisiting the books or YouTube videos that had helped me when I started data science courses. So basics are important.
