Design for Climate Resilience At building design stage, it is also crucial to review the impact of climate change and develop mitigation strategies to enhance climate resilience of the building. Extreme weather such as substantial rise in temperature, seawater level and rainfall poses negative impacts on building structure, facade, outdoor area and building services, etc. Climate change scenarios with projected variation in negative impacts have to be considered and climate resilience proposals detailing the strategies to tackle respective scenarios should be in place.
