Fundamentally, Safety concerns should not conflict with Business goal. Because the actual business goal itself is safety oriented, especially when is comprehensively designed from conceptual level throughout the implementation phase to safe project delivery. Infact, that is the essence of ISO 45001 and it's edge ahead of ISO 18001, it makes safety commitment as core part of business and mandatory for business continuity and sustainability. Many organizations had gone into oblivion not because of business goal but safety poor administration leading to incident that ruined the entire business. So no compromise on safety matters.

Depends , If risk assessed as High or Unacceptable level leading to Casulty, Major Injury impacting like Fracture or Amputation then big NO Compromise ...if Medium or Low then ALARP simply... Safety Personnel should work for people and not to secure seat only

I run into this on a daily basis. Safety can be the enemy of production through the eyes of Supervisors that are trying to meet deadlines. It is not easy to balance the two. I try very hard to make my documentation efficient and effective in the field. The difference a couple of minutes in filling our paper work can make or break a team effort. Be sure to test your system and how you gather your documents before issuing it in the field. It should be effortless and it should capture everything needed to keep your crews safe and educated on the hazards associated with the work. Everyone must be able to understand exactly what the risks are. There has to be communication between the supervisor and worker as well as with Health and Safety.

Effective communication is key, directly or indirectly. If safety concerns conflict with business goals, then you have to communicate the impact of the risk once it is accessed. While communicating this issues. It has to be done clearly and professionally, you have to be able to listen and speak based of facts and evidences. You have to communicate the issues to necessary stakeholders both the planners and the doers.

No business goal is great than employee’s safety and wellbeing. Safety always comes first when it conflicts with any sort of business target and the urgency to compile those targets.

Great business goal shouldn't affect business goals, if we're to go against Safety we might end up ruining the company reputation it is crucial to ensure that set goals do not affect business goals. From the onset companies need to set goals that do not affect Safety, it can be costly in the long run if there's a conflict between company goals and Safety.

Safety is our first priority, and it should not be compromised with anything. There should be cooperation and collaboration meetings with all the stakeholders whoever has concerns. In these meetings, the risks should be identified and assessed. Then, make the Task Risk Assessment and mitigate the risk. An additional control measure should utilise residual risk. No work is so urgent than the safety.

How can it conflict with business goals..SAFETY ALWAYS FIRST.. If not the case then the Safety culture to be change asap or easily a Disaster on its way.
