Performance should be an on-going conversation. The documents should be updated on a regular basis, both by employees and managers. This will help to make the actual dates less overwhelming. The conversations are the most important part of the process. But managers need to demonstrate respect for the process by completing the documentation on time. If their teams see them not taking the process seriously, chances are they won't either. And worse yet, they might not take any people related processes seriously.

Schedule reviews of all the employeed on time, no matter what, appreciations, appraisals and acknowledgements have to be done at the right time and right moment, that creates an impact and motivation to our employees. Henceforth, they are very important as our daily work and daily work process.

In my opinion, if a supervisor doesn't conduct performance evaluations on time, it's their failure & a coaching opportunity for him to be accountable. Supervisors should care for and support individuals' well-being. There's no excuse for this. Here are a few things to avoid: 1. Use scheduled discussions to ensure follow-up. 2. Set reminders to make a plan. 3. Utilize automated notifications, like Power Automate, to receive regular reminders.
