What do you do if you need essential tools and technologies for remote data analysis work?

If you don't have something that's "essential for remote data analysis work" then either ask yourself is it really essential? Or just a nice to have. If it's truly essential you should be able to make the case for why you need it (it's essential) vs you want it (nice to have). Though the very nature of remote work is remote so I would assume that if they are hiring remote people you would be able to have the access you need remotely.

And Google Data Analytics course on Coursera. Keep yourself informed about market demands! Continuously monitor the prerequisites for new job openings, even if you're content in your current position. This proactive approach ensures you're always up to date with the latest technologies in the industry.

Keep aside time to learn new things. Make use of the learning opportunities in your organization. In my company there were many certifications available for free for the employees. Also, there are resources available in LinkedIn, Udemy, Coursera etc.

Make sure you have the proper hardware setup. The network connectivity should be fast and reliable. The system setup must be proper without any hinderance. The home office setup should be in a quiet area with no discrepancies. Make sure you are comfortable in your space.
