Its relatively easy if there less layers in the model but as soon as layers increase it will become difficult to explain so its important to explain the most critical aspects which impact the outcome. Analogies are great but now there are lot of technologies which are surfacing to visualize the outcome based on neural network path traversed by the data.

An interview can be modeled as two aims, one for the enterprise, one for the applicant, where the intersection of aims is the optimal.
