Yes I completely agree, I always bring it up during my interviews, I was laid off just a year after graduating and got my first NP job, many wouldn’t expect Healthcare providers Doctors, NPs and PAs to be laid off, but that was a reality shortly before COVID, and I’ve always spooned it as a positive learning experience not sleep on the idea that any industry is immune to lay-offs

I would reiterate that having a growth mindset vs fixed mindset is super important. I often times am an 'over sharer' and have come to realize that often less is more. People don't need the long drawn out story and the longer it gets often times the higher chance it turns negative. Keep it short, know your explanation and move on.

Whatever you say, SPIN it and make it positive. It's a little recruiting trick. Even if your situations have been more on the negative side, it is imparative to be positive about everything.
